This Castle and the Blarney Castle were my two favorites. The green in Ireland is a green you have never seen before. You ask the locals about it and they tell you that you should see it when it's really green. All the streets, walls,  and tombstones are covered in beautiful thick moss. Ireland Forever.

Cobh

Cobh, Ireland, Pronounce "Cove" is one of my favorite places I've ever been. The colors and the history make it pretty close to perfect. I have ancestors from County Cork Ireland and Cobh is located here. Makes me love it ever more. Love this place and the fact that it was the last port the Titanic stopped at before its infamous journey across the Atlantic. We had the loveliest breakfast at a restaurant right in the harbor. 

More Moher Please

The Cliffs of Moher where everything you could ever dream of and more. There is only one word to describe this day and this place.

Free, I've never felt more free.

Holyrood

After our hike we toured the Holyrood Palace. This is where the queen stays when she comes to visit. She is only there a week or two of the year. We couldn't take photos inside but it was so beautiful! 

 
 

 

Arthurs Seat

We woke up early to watch the sunrise from a little hike called Arthurs seat. We decided to do the shorter route which ended up being off limits and on our way down a ranger told us we were lucky we were safe. Apparently there are a lot of boulders that fall down and hurt people. Oops! Such a beautiful view of Edinburgh.

Edinburgh Chirstmas

We decided it was a good idea to ride a carnival ride in the freezing cold weather. Right we were. It was such a fun memory. This monument is called the Scott Monument. It was built out of white stone but it is now black. Such a wonderful medieval feel! 

 

 

The Royal Mile

We got to stay on the Royal Mile which was the best place to stay. The people all over the UK were so kind. This man pictured asked us where we were from and then he told us he was from Hell and told me I wasn't from The States, I am from Heaven haha. Bless his heart. We spend the afternoon listening to Bagpipes, my instrument of choice, exploring the Giles Cathedral and taking a bus tour around the city to see everything we could before the dreaded 3:30 sunset! Edinburgh is such a dark mid evil feel in a beautiful way. The buildings/stone are black from soot.

Edinburgh Castle

We took a morning flight from London to Edinburgh. We went to Sacrament meeting and were blow away but the Scottish accent then we headed straight to our amazing airbnb looking at the main cathedral and castle on the royal mile. Our first stop was Edinburgh Castle as we raced the day light! We missed Tat so much! 

We Just Couldn't Get Enough

After Covent Garden we decided to head back to Big Ben to admire the beauty one more time.  We watched the hustle and bustle from the Gandhi statue as the lights came on and the bells striked.

After conquering the reenactment of The Beatles we headed to Trafalgar Square then Covent Garden for Shake Shack and Laudree... because what more could you want?

We made a cheeky stop in Trafalgar Square on our way to Covent Garden and it was honestly the best I could have spent all day watching the red double deckers circle around with Big Ben in the background.

Hyde and Kensington

After Platform 9 3/4 we headed to Kensington Gardens to see the Palace (really just trying to find Kate) and find the wonderful Peter Pan Statue. I was so excited to find this statue guys.. like Big Ben excited! Because .. MK&A of course and Peter Pan is just about the greatest story ever take us to Never never land! We meandered around Hyde park and fed parakeets. CHEERIO.
