One of my friends sean is getting deployed to afghanistan this coming friday. I just want to personally tell him thank you for everything you do for our country. I enjoy my freedom everyday and can't begin to fathom what I would do without brave soldiers like you. Please be safe I know you will be. Can't wait to see you at the red house again in a year it will be just like old times :)
And whenever i see airplanes I am going to think of the good times in hawaii listening to watching airplane and something like that by timmy boy!

hmmmm.

k so i recently heard something from one of my friends that made me re-evaluate life in and of itself.

we are judged upon what we do when others aren't looking..

. hmmmm.

this made me start thinking and i realized how true it actually is..

so why do people talk bad about their friends the seconde they leave the room.. good friends eh?

And why do we think when someone doesn't see us do something it doesn't count against us..?

Well think again cause it does count and no one can ever run away from that concept.

i was reading in the bible the other day and almost every other scripture talked about cleaving to the lord.

ahh i get now just cleave to the lord and everything is going to work out just how he intended... it probably won't be they way you want it... or the timing you wanted it to happen...

but in the end you will be happy.. and if you not happy its not the end cause that is exactly what heavenly father wants for you.

So be careful what you do when others aren't looking and learn to cleave to the Lord and everything else will fall into place from there.

so blessed.

I have been extremely blessed in life. Especially this past year with the opportunity of coming to BYU Hawaii seriously this place has been so good for me and if i could go back i wouldn't cause i wouldn't of done anything different this year. This semester i have been so blessed with friends. I have gained friendships that i know will last forever and i want to tell all those people thanks i couldn't of made it this semester without you all. I am extremely blessed to have a friend like Mckenzie who reads 16 pages from the Bible everyday without fail with me.. seriously that some intense reading especially when you are reading about sacrifices and departing and pitching and departing and pitching. It gets old. But yesterday we turned a new leaf and made it to good old Deuteronomy-- i have never read more beautiful scripture in one day than last night.

"The Lord your God which goeth before you he shall fight for you.."
"The Lord thy God hath been with thee.."
"..For the Lord your God he shall fight for you."
And my personal favorite..
"But ye that did cleave unto the Lord your God are alive every one of you this day."

Its that simple all we need to do is sit back, be faithful, and breathe. Cause everything will work out-- and in the end if everything doesn't seen right.. its not the end. In the end everything will be perfect :) just sit back and wait for the Lord to tell you what you need cause we don't always know for ourselves.

weekend wars

nowadays its seems that the weeks fly by and the weekends last forever and i am not complaining about it. I LIVE for the weekend. So last week we ended up going to waimea with my dear friend chase, skee, kenz, lex, arie, joe, jeff, cameron.. and i think thats it.. So it was a blast the ways very decently epic we swam.. body surfed, listened for whales, barried arie and me and chase made her a mermaid hahaha, then we had a crazyyy sand war! It was so much fun i definately flossed sand out of my teeth though, no joke.

and this weekend we went to one of the most beautiful places i have ever seen. Its called Lanikai down in kailua and its in these picture i absolutely just loved it. We had more sand wars, snorkling, hands up stands up, ya know all that good stuff. We can always trust nate to pull through on our adventures. Then we ate at THE greatest burger place ever can't quite remember the name of it but it was a delight! I dunno if its cause i was really hungry or it was really that good. But nonetheless it was so yummy.
