2014
Year In Review

2014 will always hold a special place in my heart. It was the year I married my best friend, graduated college, started my new life with my husband, grew up a lot, traveled, and was extremely blessed. I could go on and on about this year but instead I have narrowed my year down to these top ten memories.

1.Started the year off by moving back to Hawaii with Scott

2. Scott and I got Scuba Certified, something I have been meaning to do for four years.

3. Graduated College

4. Got Married in May in the Laie, Hawaii Temple and had the best week with our families before the wedding.

5. Honeymooned on Maui - Road to Hana, Black Rock, Kanapali

6. L.A. and Catalina Trip over the 4th of July

7. San Diego Trip to meet Mila June

8. Paris Trip in December

9. Marina Del Rey Boat Parade

10. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years with Family and friends.

Paris, France
December 2014

The best word I can think of to describe Paris is lovely. It is a lovely city, with amazing bakeries, incredible architecture, fascinating history, and a smell that's enchanting. We booked out flights at ten at night and we left for the airport at four in the morning the following day. It was an amazing adventure and a great way to celebrate six months of marriage. We stayed at the most lovely airbnb that we booked at the airport, praying we would have a place to stay when we arrived haha. It worked out and did not disappoint it was a three minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. The ceiling was glass, like a huge window, and at night we laid in bed in the loft and fell asleep to the circling spotlight of the Eiffel Tower, idyllic really. Right place, right time.

for some reason the french go to bed extremely late and they start their days rather late.. our second day in Paris and first morning there we woke up early because the jet lag. We stopped at a lovely bakery and munched on our baguettes and chocolate croissants on our walk to the Eiffel Tower. There was not a soul. We were the only ones we could see from the Eiffel Tower and it was so surreal.

This isn't at 4:30 in the morning either.. this is at 7:45.. only people for as far as we could see. Sunrise at the Eiffel Tower.
